I learned a great lesson yesterday. This lesson learned was totally by mistake. I really do learn something new every day. This is what I learned yesterday. The U.S. Postal Service has a great new thing, one rate shipping boxes. I knew about the boxes before yesterday. Here is my lesson for yesterday. I recieved a vintage vase in one a carefully packed box. It was packed great. The bubble wrap that I love to pop and lots of the foam peanuts.
The thing I need to remember is;
Never roll down the car windows when you have a box sent via U.S mail that has been packed with those foam peanuts. I am still finding them, not to mention the ones that flew onto Patton Island Bridge. Those are still floating in the Tennessee River, I guess. It really looked as if I was driving and popping popcorn in my car.

  1. LOL
    Reminds me of a friend who loaded his pick up truck with styrofoam coolers to bring to Florence from Hunstville. About half of them made it, and the other half lined Highway 72.
