I may have this totally wrong, but for some reason; I think teachers have an obligation to have high moral standards. This profession is the one that molds are children to be productive adults. The teachers that I know personally are human just like any of us. Faults are something each of us has, but before taking advantage of any position is just wrong. Teachers have power over youngsters and at times abuse that power. Then there are some that are just a little mean, because they can be. If all in that profession would just think, before their actions cause pain that sticks with children, forever. I still remember the kindergarten teacher that made fun of my tangled hair; the first grade teacher that hit me with a ruler; the coaches that lined the whole class up and paddled us as we left their classroom and the one's that picked certain young ladies to constantly hang around. I have also not forgotten the one's that praised you for good work; the one's that if you were sick put a wet paper towel on your head; or the one's that complimented you if you had on a new outfit or new shoes.
