Brings back memories of my own mom and...Great blog. Brings back memories of my own mom and grandmother. They loved greens. I never could get over the smell while they cooked. The smell always reminded me of a dirty sock. But, I was a city boy... so that might explain it. And I have a couple of friends that swear by polk salad stalks. They claim you can cut them up like you would okra and bread the same way. They say it tastes like okra...
